Major fire broke out on the set of “Adipurush” in Mumbai
Mumbai: On the set of Adipurush, adaptation of Ramayana major fire broke out on the first day of shooting in Goregaon’s Bnagur Nagar. The movie is directed by Om Raut features Prabhas & Saif Ali Khan. But they were not present on the set at the time of incident.
Fireman Akshay Tarte aged 23 sustained minor injuries while combating fire, was treated and discharged later. The studio along with shooting equipments & wiring gutted in fire.
The adaptation of Ramayana went on floors and special set was staged for shooting. The movie is backed by T- Series.
Eight fire engines, excavators & tankers were deputed at the site to douse the fire. Short circuit said to be reason for the reason.
