NEW RECORD AT FSIE 2019 AS VISITOR NUMBERS INCREASE BY 20% YEAR ON YEAR
India’s leading fire, safety and security event attracts over 8000 trade buyers and professionals from over 34 countries
A new record in visitor numbers has underlined what has been the most successful edition yet for the India’s leading trade fair for fire,security and safety industry.
The 3rd edition of Fire & Security India Expo (FSIE), which concluded its three-day run from 27 Feb – 1 Mar 2019 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, attracted 8004 unique visitors from 34 countries, a 20 per cent increase over the previous year The event brought together over 150 leading brands displaying state of the art technologies, live product demonstrations and business solutions for fire safety and security industry
Jointly organised by NürnbergMesse India and Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI), this edition marked asignificant increase in overall exhibition floor space. Live product demonstrations across cutting edge technologies in the IBMS/IoT space, special focus on security systems, new technology fire protection & life safety systems, and more were the highlights of the exhibition.
The resounding visitor response to FSIE 2019 comes as demand for fire, security and safety equipment in the Indian region continues to be ever rising. According to sources, the Indian market for fire and security industry is currently estimated to grow at the CAGR of approximately 10% and 15% until 2021.
India as a destination remains as one of the fastest growing economies in the world and the Fire and Safety market size is expected to double from 3.5 Billion USD to reach 7 Billion USD by 2021. On the other hand, the Indian Security industry too is expected to double from 6.2 billion USD by 2020. To support the industry, FSIEprovides auniquely concentrated market overview of integrated solutions for fire protection and security, especially those that intelligently combine innovation and technology.

Featuring over 60 high-profile speakers including industry thought leaders, government and regulatory authorities, and solution providers, FSIE 2019 hosted the BIG3 series of conferences. Over500 delegates joined discussions in various conferences and forums across the three days covering a range of topics including fire safe tall buildings, Security and IoT, Safety and Fire Protection, Emergency Response, Disaster Management, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Evacuation in Hospitals, Artificial Intelligence and more.
In addition, to promote innovation and recognize extraordinary contribution of organization and individuals in the field of security, safety, firefighting and emergency response – annual FIST Awards were conducted in association with Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI). Industry innovators bagged prizes and recognition for their innovation and rigour.
